State Farm is probably the worst insurance company you could waste your money on. I have heard of homeowners being denied claims for obvious losses and had to hire lawyers to sue them. That seems to be their game. Deny and let the insurer take legal action. Some will but most will just pay it themselves out of pocket, so State Farm saves by not paying on the claim. Do yourself a favor, do not insure with State Farm. Period.
