LEGOLAND California Vlog September 2024

Join us as we head to LEGOLAND California for our first ever visit! In this vlog we check out everything that this family theme park has to offer, including riding all 3 roller coasters. We also check out some of the dark rides along with a variety of other attractions throughout the park. Along with that we take you for a full tour of Miniland USA and much more!

It’s always nice to see a LEGOLAND park around the world, especially checking out their version of Miniland. The two of you picked an interesting time to visit the California park, since they’re in the middle of a major multi-year restructuring process, similar to DCA. I’m excited to see what LEGOLAND California has in store for the next few years.

It’s unfortunate that you happened to visit the park at such an awkward time. The whole park is in the midst of a major multi-year restructuring process, which includes retheming certain areas and replacing dated restaurants, attractions, and models. The process is similar in concept to the redesign of Disney California Adventure. The dinosaur area is an example of how they’re working to rectify criticisms of mismatched theming. The area used to be a mix of dinosaurs, fairy tales, and safari, and the rides were all over the place in terms of capacity. The changes have solved most of those problems. The construction in Fun Town is for their upcoming Space themed flat ride and dark coaster, which will take the place of the driving schools. The cars are being relocated to the site of the police and fire academy. LEGOLAND California is usually an excellent park, but due to the updates these last few years have been very chaotic.

The dinosaur area I believe is new for this year I think the rides were there before but they added the theme to the rides or rethemed the rides

had a trip to Thorpe park yesterday overall good day other than they were running the swarm and stealth on both one trains and the swarm was on a 75 minute queue and then they were over filling the station queues in the swarm Merlin operations aren’t doing the best at the moment

The best area definitely was Lego movie world but still something didn’t look right I think it was the walls being too small especially around the drop towers
