ProMedica Teen PEP Program Teaches Kids About Bullying Prevention

As parents, we like to think we have great influence on our kids...but experts say often, teenagers look to their peers for information and "norms." That's why ProMedica's Teen PEP program is so important. It teaches teenagers how to be positive influences on their friends, and how to be a mentor to younger kids too, all in the hopes of teaching them about healthy relationships. Bullying prevention is one of the things the kids spend a lot of time learning about because it is such a growing problem. ProMedica Health Connect Correspondent Chrys Peterson talked with the Teen PEP coordinator to get tips on how parents can help educate their kids about bullying.
