The word ‘Enyaq’ is relates to a long lost Byzantine cultural tradition of gargling rancid milk. Okay, so that may or may not be true, but one thing is for sure, the 2025 Skoda Enyaq is very neat and tidy EV.

It won’t steal sales from the Tesla Model Y in any great numbers because it’s not angling for cheaper end of the mid-size SUV market but a classy cabin, unique exterior design and heaps of standard gear give it a point of different from the growing EV crowd.

The Enyaq is also a very entertaining drive, delivering impressive grip in corners and smooth ride comfort around town. And the electric powertrain is fairly potent too. It’s not a game-changer but it’s better than gargling rancid milk.
