The Cathedral is probably the most iconic of all Heretic levels. When I think of Heretic, The Cathedral and The Docks are the two levels that come into my mind first. And this is probably the best enhancement pack I’ve seen.

This is a rough representation of my experience playing this level as a child... except I never actually found the door at 8:42, so this was basically the final level of the game for me until many years later. Even as an adult I wasn't able to notice that damn misalligned texture!

Huh, normally AI upscale can look a bit tacky on animated sprites, but for heretic it kind of works, especially the mummies. Though that crossbow looks pretty bad with that weird black outline it's developed. A little cleanup (and maybe more modern, detail dense levels ) could make this work super well.

Even though this neural upscale looks pretty damn good I will stick to pixels until I die. The voxel pack is cool on the other hand but the Xbow bolts are uneasy to look at.

Watching this, I question why people deliberately make games that look like Doom, instead of like this right here. Pixelart is nice, but why not take the classic Doom look and upgrade it? This right here shows how great it can look.
