I think the real power of Dalle-E is not the image quality, but the image relevancy. From my experience, I get better looking images from Midjourney and Leonardo but they are often not what I need. They don't convey the idea I needed. So yeah, the real power is having ChatGPT behind the prompts to make useful images.
