The Skarner Rework: Three Weeks Later

Three Weeks after the Skarner Rework, am I happy about New Skarner, or desperately wish the Old Skarner back?

When I initially heard Skarner won the Rework Poll and was due for a new update, I was terrified, but almost five weeks ago when the Skarner Rework was first placed on PBE, I had entirely mixed feelings between excitement and dread, considering what we would lose and gain from the changes.
Three weeks have passed since New Skarner officially hit live with the Rework changes, and I've played plenty since. I've experienced everything from utter dread and despair, up to hyped-up excitement and satisfaction, but where does that place how I feel about the changes as a whole?
