Ingredients:
2 cups (8 oz) of dried elbow macaroni
2/3 cups good quality mayonnaise
2 tsp dijon mustard
2 Tbsp white distilled vinegar
1 tsp sugar, optional
1/3 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper (1 small pepper)
1/4 cup minced onion
1/3 cup grated carrots
salt and pepper

With this recipe you can make chicken macaroni salad and even add crispy bacon. Or make tuna macaroni salad.

Tried it. Very good! I did not have carrots so I added sliced olives. Cut back a little on the salt if you do this.

I'm making macaroni salad later. I normally add all the dressings and veggies to the macaroni (after its cooled) but I love your way of mixing the the dressing first and adding the mac to it. Will do it like that :)
