What is a stock warrant and how does it work? I go over what exactly a stock warrant is in under 2 minutes and make some comparisons to option contracts as well. Stock warrants are a powerful tool for medium or long term investors and is something everyone should look into and consider getting into. They can pay off in spades in the future!

Great video! Fast and to the point. Couple of questions on this subject. Where can one buy warrants if they are being sold by a company? Is there a clearing house or exchange that deals with the buys of these investment instruments? Does it differ from company and how they deal with the public?

I'm now in financial love with you Positive Investing dude, whatever your name is! I bought 3000 BFRI shares that came with $5.00 warrants. So I may look into keeping this long term. Mostly I am short term with a few long term. What are the fees to exercise a warrant? Is it typically per share or per transaction? Are these fees from my platform only? I'm looking to get into options but the videos and resources so far are extremely confusing. I have a fake money account with Think or Swim and lost a ton trying to practice options - I have no idea what happened, so I look forward to watching the options video -- since you did such an awesome job explaining warrants. Thanks!

Hi Nick, Can we look at an actual example? Say NKLA is currently trading at $54.24. NKLAW is $26.10 expired 06/03/2025. I have no idea the strike price for this can't find that info any where. Could you help?

so essentially stock warrant is a type of version of security you can buy, and the same as stock option with the exception of the time 3 years vs 15 years and this directly benefits the corporation rather than stake holders? is that the only difference?
