MSU is one of the most inconsistent wildcard teams in sports. They've been to the college football playoff then went 3-9, then went 10-3, 7-6, 6-7, and have 5 wins against opponents where they were predicted to lose by double digits since 2015. They also have beaten two top 15 teams this year and Georgia and Alabama are the only ones who have also done that. They have lost to Rudgers (1-4), Indiana (who is good), and Iowa (decent). I am a fan of this team and I can day that they are an odditity every week.

As usually some of the homer experts fans and media praised how great northwestern defense was. And as usually northwestern great defense is really good against mediocre teams and will or if get blown out by Ohio state or Indiana and if they go to a bowl game totally destroy pat Fitzgerald team. Northwestern is good as a mediocre team....

Missed the game and the highlights don't explain anything. The interception flag @1:45, what was that for and did it get rejected if it was against Northwestern? It's hard to tell with the way the highlights are shown, watched multiple and none of them show anything except the field goal after the flag.

NW is really good on D, but nothing to write home about on offense. MSU could be really good next year.

That secondary is the best MSU's had in a while, they blocked and ran the ball well too. Sure passing was shotty in the second half, but they only had 1 turnover. Great win. Looks like Tucker has this ship going in the right direction.
