Great video. How reliable are the E65 mechanical and electrical I've hear good and bad things, supposedly a lot of problems with idrive. I'm thinking about getting one.

Some of the many things to look out for as the engine gets older, valley pan. These cars, leak a lot of oil if you don't pay attention to the front timing cover gaskets, valve cover gaskets. Sometimes, because of normal wear and tear, where the oil drain plug sits, it can crack. They are nice cars, but very expensive to maintain. That's why I tell people who are considering a BMW, to get a straight 6 instead, way less problems, more fuel efficient, more fun to drive.

my 2002 745i doesent enter this menu. i hold the button for more than 20 sec. only abs sing shows for couple seconds and then nothing.... what is the problem?

Will this reset the parking brake malfunction light on the dash board? I recently fixed the cracked gear in the parking brake actuator but i dont know how to reset the parking brake malfunction light.

I had to ad the last 5 numbers together on my vin in order to unlock the dash to view my operating voltage.

Great video, I was able to unlock my Dash and access all the hiding features. But, I decided to take my car to the dealer because I had a check engine and I didn't know what it was, well they run a free diagnose on the car and tell me what was wrong, but the interesting parts was that after I got out of there I was trying to get into the hiding menu and I couldn't get into it, it does not work any more, I cant get to pull it up anymore, has someone experience this before. Please Help!!!
