FYI Zaha Hadid was a woman, she created some of the most incredible works I have ever seen. There is a building not far from me in Miami called the “exoskeleton” incredible construction build exactly the way that it sounds- the reinforcement is on the exterior of the building. It looks nothing like the other buildings of Miami. We talked about her for international women’s day. So sad that a talented and outspoken woman like her is no longer with us.Also the MAXXI stands for Modern art XXI (21 in Roman numerals- 21st century art) when I went there the we were told the building was NOT well received by the locals. ( it doesn’t fit in, not what they are used to seeing- classical architecture) I really appreciate your lectures. Thank you for doing them and posting them.
