🇦🇪Dubai Centrepoint(Rashidiya) Metro Station Dubai[4K]

CENTREPOINT METRO STATION: It's a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE. The eastern terminus of the line, it is one of three Metro stations with a park and ride lot, the others being Etisalat Metro Station and Jebel Ali Metro Station. It is formerly named Rashidiya Metro Station. On 4th August 2021, this station was renamed as Centrepoint. It is located in Al Rashidiya District of eastern Dubai which is mostly a residential area. Points of interest near the station include: schools and community centres, Dubai Airport Expo and Dubai Royal Air Wing of the Dubai International Airport. Centrepoint Metro Station was opened on Sept 9, 2009 and one of the busiest stations on the Dubai Metro. It is one of the few stations classed as a type 3 elevated station, indicating it has three tracks rather than the usual two. This allows trains to be held and stored easily. The tracks to and from Centrepoint parallel the southern side of Airport Road, continuing eastward to one of the network's depots.

TRAIN ROUTE: The train passes/ stops a total of 17 Metro Stations before reaching my final destination as follows in chronological order: Emirates Metro Station, Airport Terminal 3 Metro Station, Airport Terminal 1 Metro Station, GGICO Metro Station, Deira City Center Metro Station, Al Rigga Metro Station, Union Metro Station, Burjuman Metro Station, ADCB Metro Station, Al Jafiliya Metro Station, World Trade Centre Metro Station, Emirates Towers Metro Station, Financial Centre Metro Station, Burj Khalifa/ Dubai Mall Metro Station, Business Bay Metro Station, Al Safa Metro Station and Umm Al Sheif Metro Station. Train routes via elevated track along Airport Rd and going underground upon approaching Deira City Center Metro Station. After passing Burjuman Metro Station, it rises from underground to ADCB Metro Station along Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed St. Elevated track continues along Sheikh Zayed Rd up to the last metro station namely, UAE Exchange Metro Station.
