Minecraft 3 by 3 Shaftless elevator 1.15 + | full platform | compact and simple

while I did make this from scratch on my own, someone else might've made something similar. please do not distribute and claim this to be yours. If you make a youtube video of this design please put a link to my video. Also, yes it can go more then 12 blocks. the only part that can't be more then 12 is the piston slime/redstone block tower thing. just connect top output into the bottom input another way depending on how high you're planning to make the elevator.

I literally sat for an hour straight contemplating what could have gone wrong during the construction of this elevator on a survival server I play on. And Before quitting, I discovered a single piece of Redstone was missing in the reactivation mechanism. A great elevator that still works in 1.16.x!

I want to say this is a really good elevator! I used it in 1.16.5 and I had some issues, but they were on my part and easily fixed. I had to fiddle with some things because my elevator was a bit longer, but the system works :D

Smart, but I was too dumb so I made a 3 x 4 elevator and used bookcases to stop it and ty for the tutorial :D

There is actually a better and less complicated solution for the slime block placement so it doesn’t look like a very weird triangle, just remove the entire top bit and remove the observer and place a slime or honey block in place of the observer and then place a observer underneath the slime block and add the blocks of your choice.

My issue is that the first floor button isn't calling the elevator back down.. the other button works just fine, though. and at some point, it stopped one row before it was supposed to. Didn't know how to fix it, so I'm having to start over.

the stoping mechanism doesn't work after the machine goes past a certain height it seems, my elevator moves up 30+ blocks and it won't be stopped properly by the mechanism, but the tinier test version I made where it goes only like 5 it works fine. You can fix this by having 3 observers, one for each "slice" of the elevator.
