A Disney+ series in the art style of an anime makes more sense to me from a business perspective. While KH has a passionate fan-base, its not a widely recognized or at least understood IP by the average audience member. A TV series on Disney+ would allow them to cover the many story points and give opportunity for the casual viewers to get on board. And doing it in a vibrant animation or Anime art style gives them artistic flexibility to create the different Disney worlds, and would likely be more affordable and less of a financial risk than making a theatrical movie. And then ultimately, a TV series could build up enough public excitement to make a theatrical movie more plausible, kind of like what other anime series have done, like the Dragon Ball Series as one example. But that's just my opinion, as someone is aware and curious enough about KH to watch a movie or series, but isn't able to go through the games.

I do think that this needs to be a tv series, and not a movie. You can not expect to tell the entire story of the first KH in one single movie.

Also, like everyone else; I think this should've been animated. Not live action. Sora in live action would be vèry difficult. That's like Luffy in live action. They're kind of similar. It's a positivity that gets very annoying in live action. So you need the literal perfect person to exist at the exact right time.

What are the odds that there's two of them in real life?


Also, Nomura is a necessity for this to work. Just like Oda-sensei was a necessity to make the OPLA work.

Throughout the franchise, the journey transcends their bonds from being childhood friends to being close a more of affection after facing many hardships they have ever faced.

In the opening menu theme "Dearly Beloved", it is a hidden message of Sora and Kairi’s love for each other.

If anything, I heard that it was going to be an animated film with CGI graphics. They could use recorded lines from Haley Joel Osment and the other original actors and actresses’ recorded lines for the movie.
