Tony - Incredible that you could do a 48-minute video, all in one breath!
I don't 'do' CNC, or have much understanding of electronic control systems, but I love your presentation style so much that it's a joy to watch you carefully explain the 'intimate details' of these systems.
Also, hats off to you for the beautiful, almost magic lighting through the whole video!

This Old Tony channel: The only videos on youtube I rewind, not fast forward.

I think you're underestimating how dedicated your fans are when saying only 3 of us are going to watch the video completely! Personally I enjoy longer formats :)

"I forgot to wet the sponge" - This Old Tony letting us know right off the bat that he takes his humor like he takes his coffee: dark, sightly burnt, and smelling of ozone.

Just dropping some words of appreciation for your editing.
You really learned to nail the balance between entertaining and informative in the DIY sector 🎉

I'm a literal control systems engineer, who works in Open/Closed loop land all day every day.

And that was a better explanation than anyone has ever given about the subject than in industry!

2 reasons (3 fingers), point number "b". I truly appreciate how smooth he dumbs around.

Personally, I'd change out the gravel in the " Y" ballscrew. I tend to like smooth river pebbles over crushed granite.

I have a confession. I've been watching ToT reruns the last few weeks and lovin it. Tons of laughs and some tears. So excited about this new 48 minute video, I'm drinking my diner with the door locked. Kids are banging on the door and the wife is crying, but I don't care.

Honestly Tony, hearing you find your voice, grow more comfortable in your videos, and learning so much from you, has been awesome. :D

When TOT uploads you watch. No skipping, no jumping, no blinking. You sit there and enjoy. No other choice.

The first actual laugh out loud was the length of the "I hesitate to say this"

Gotta say, your videos are the most interesting videos I watch. The combination of dad humor, amazing technical detail and well-shot segments is killer. I look forward to seeing the Maho eventually become sentient as well as seeing you take on the challenge of making precision ball bearings...yes, that's a double dog dare!

Tony, I'm an engineer at an oil and gas plant. Whenever I troubleshoot something interesting enough to be worth explaining to the Operations team, I draft and email going over the details. There are dad jokes, weird analogies, and funny pictures. Thank you for teaching so much in the way that you do, and please know that it's loved enough that some of us try to emulate your style. Keep it up, sir.

33:40 "I don't know why I'm opening this"..."I'm not opening this"...priceless!
