I have a feeling that maybe just maybe the owl crew will somehow befriend the collector and maybe convince him that there's more to life than playing. Befriending villains and antagonists is kind of Luz's thing when you think about it.

I loved this. The power of gods, in the hands of child naivety. By far the absolute worst thing ever, and Owl House introduced him as such OP goodness, in the best way possible.

Keep in mind, none the kids (except maybe Hunter) know that Belos regularly melts into “goo”. So in their minds, they just witnessed a child-like being straight up murder a guy in a very gruesome way.

I love how there's no music or ambience before the bizarre theme kicks in, it just feels so intimidating for such a 'goofy' character. Their child-like nature is part of what makes them terrifying!

I'm not gonna lie I laughed real hard when Belos got destroyed, but got shocked when seeing Luz and the gang's faces when the Collector killed Belos with one finger. The Collector is cute, but scary at the same time.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how even though Belos was in a monstrous/animalistic rage and yet stops to speak perfectly normally when the collector shows up? Like despite how out of himself he is in monster form he knows how powerful The Collector is and how much trouble he's in, like mom calling you by your full name kind of bad on steroids

Poor Hunter, to see the person he idolized as some sort of god that needed to be appraised for so long, the person he had to run and hide from for a week in fear he would take him out be turned to goop in a mere second must be terrifying.

Okay I know that everyone is talking about how the collector is innocent and "just a kid"... but that smile at 0:26 said they knew *exactly* what they were doing to Belos, and they didn't regret it one bit. Don't get me wrong, they're still my favorite character but like. They're also an all powerful cosmic being that can move the moon with a finger like the sky's a touchscreen.

Interesting thing to note.
The song starts playing when the collector says: "Whatcha playing"
Funny thing is...
The song's name is actually "Whatcha playing"
Very Clever.
Also the song used in the prior scene, specifically when they were fighting belos was called "The game called The Owl House".
Which would mean... The game king will be playing with him, will be a massive witch fight. Possibly similar to the tournament of power from Dragon Ball Super, full of action animation.
