Guy seen driving e scooter along highway in 50 mph joyride

An e-scooter driver freaked out drivers during rush hour after he was spotted allegedly zipping along the highway at 50 mph to 60 mph.

It's also "highly illegal" to drive 50 mph in your car in a 30 mph zone, but people are doing just that on every single road, every single day.

Just sold my busted (trashy transmission) 2013 ford escape sel, took some of the money from the sale and just purchased a 5, 600w 60 mph, 65 mile range (on a full charge) electric scooter and a 1000 watt ebike that goes 60 miles (on a full charge), done with car breakdowns and crazy high New York car insurance prices and bs tickets...now im riding everywhere and parking everywhere basically for free in new York, and im 67 years old..screw cars...dont blame that guy...total cost of electricity for a year to power both are about 40 dollars..

E scooter must be recognized as a legit transportation solution. Imagine how sufficient it could be if we take one car lane and transform it into three scooter lane, leave alone air pollution and gas price.

I’m here with my Vsett 10+ 25.6ah escooter that can go at 50mph (sports mode) and I’m hella paranoid riding it alongside cars that goes 35mph - 40mph! this dude be breezin’ by like nothing! not to mention he doesn’t even have a full motorcycle protection gear on 😬 i swear one unavoidable giant pothole and this guy is bye bye
