I met Mary a couple of times and she's a very nice down to earth person, not the ''Bulldog'' that you @Chris Newman have perceived her to be. I think Mary Coughlan has indeed gone mad. "I am sick and tired of seeing people with baby strewn all over them"... I think if you are reading this and can not see a problem in that quotation from Mary Coughlan then you may need to rethink what you value in life, what a family or love is to you and whether you disregard children. I am unsure how Mary Coughlan can look at families, large families with parents working hard to keep the children under control and trying to spend time with their children and say that she is sick and tired of seeing these families with the parents beside their children.. Mary Coughlan needs to have a rethink about what family is.

Talking all the time and being opinionated is lighter fuel for someone to cross question you. answer yes no don't know. If you are asked WHY answer is simple because I don't know. Saying less is more and as she clearly stated she was a Vincent Virgin yet she fell in to the same trap. Said too much and was too opinionated against someone else. last but not least if your sick of something then change your world.

As Mary says, abortion is a real last resort for women, it's a decision that causes huge distress in most cases, and that never leaves you once you have made it. Women cry for the rest of their lives for grief and loss. The situations that put them in that horrible corner, those really could be addressed; poverty, violent partners, judgmental and vindictive behaviour of those who think themselves in a position to judge, (and yet some of these may be abusing children in their spare time). 
Our society endorses killing on a massive scale, we turn away from helping those in Iraq, in Palestine, in Syria and many other places, glorying in the might of our military. It is a horrible murderous world, and to be condemning women in desperate straits to dangerous back-street or self-inflicted abortion is cruel and negligent. If you want to save those babies, provide real help.
 Would those campaigners who have never ever had, or supported a family member or friend as they find themselves desperate to go through such a procedure, please step up? I doubt there are many.

she hardly went mad! she got a bit upset and given how strongly she feels she kept good composure. I don't really like her and don't agree with her view on abortion, but she did very well here. It's not fair to dismiss her by saying she went mad.

Why do the irish make such a big deal about having an abortion?, It was way more traumatic having root canal treatment.
