In the Paralympic Movement's birthplace, Stoke Mandeville, the Paralympic Flame was created this Saturday ahead of Paris 2024.
During the ceremony, organised by the IPC, ParalympicsGB, WheelPower and with the support of Samsung, Paralympians Helene Raynsford and Gregor Ewan created the flame.

Accessible description: A short film made with the support of Samsung that was shown at the flame lighting ceremony in Stoke Mandeville which will play out at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony. Produced by Emmy Award winning Harder Than You Think the film highlights the evolution of the Paralympic Movement since its creation at Stoke Mandeville in 1948.
