Acting U.S. Massachusetts Attorney Joshua S. Levy and Boston Division FBI Special Agent in Charge Jodi Cohen hold a press conference after a federal judge on Tuesday sentenced a Massachusetts Air National Guard member to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to leaking highly classified military documents about the war in Ukraine.

Jack Teixeira pleaded guilty earlier this year to six counts of willful retention and transmission of national defense information under the Espionage Act following his arrest in the most consequential national security case in years. He was brought into court in an orange jumpsuit and showed no visible reaction as he was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani.

The bigger question is who passed those sensitive documents to Teixeira.

WEIRD. I thought we weren't involved (beyond giving them hundreds of $billions in taxpayer money). What on EARTH could he have "leaked" about a war we're not a part of?!

And this is different from what Trump did in what way, but yet people voted him in for president. Whatever absolutely asinine.

Oh, so we do have laws regarding top secret documents? Maybe if they had made an example out of the top guy nobody would have thought we didnt care what happened to top secret documents

I guess he didn’t lie about it and didn’t denied any wrong doing.
