As a software developer of 15 years, it baffles me how long Discord's dev cycles are and how they manage to still do practically nothing. I've done everything from startups to enterprise level processes/overhead so I know how little time devs get to actually do development, but Discord really just pushes it to a whole new level. All the work they do in a year with however many devs they have could be done by a team of 5 in a month.

so happy for the ignore feature, when i was still a minor, i kept blocking a guy that was preying on me. all he did was keep making accounts.

the now midnight theme actually used to be a sort of easter egg on a VERY old version of mobile discord, where you have to spam the dark appearance 10 times, whereas it was actually called Amoled mode, it was experimental tho.

its also quite similiar on how you turn Developer mode and Android version easter egg on Android phones (spamming the build (now the MIUI/EMUI) version button and spamming the Android version number)

Discord should add a feature where you can revert back to an older version interms of appearance

What I really need is a custom word filter so I can filter stuff I don't want to see without having to ignore/block the person posting it.

Thank goodness, we now in the future should have the option to re-enable the "slide to see members" feature (I honestly got used to the swipe to reply feature, but I'm glad they are giving the users the chance to change it back if they wish. I hope this actually comes out.)

The discord refresh thing looks really cool (and I like that they now give a few more discord background options.) I just hope that they don't make it to where people can't go back to OG discord thing if they wanted to (they likely will keep everyone on the refresh eventually.) Let people choose what "theme" they want.

I did not notice that the sound emoji's had went away. This is really cool, and I hope they don't lock it behind nitro, just please don't.

That ignore feature will really be helpful, especially from people who send you unsolicited DM's (but you don't want to outright block them.)

Everything else is like...idk. (but I don't pay any money anyway so.)

Wow charging for that confetti is sad because so many apps just have it available for free. If they are going to charge me they should let me customize and upload my own. Also as a 'female' I have experience that exact example you mentioned and I hate that block features in most apps lets the person know that they were blocked. So I appreciate the ignore feature.
