You are one of the two or three singers who have taken on this classic without trying to sound like Kate Bush, and it really works. Very dark, gothic, atmospheric and richly reminiscent of the book. Really really well done.

I stumbled upon this and, as a rule, no one does Kate Bush like Kate Bush! I have never seen a cover that I like ( before now!) I have been a fan of Kate since she released this song in 1977 (yes, that is pushing 40 years ago). Your interpretation of the song works well in today's culture, as it is "disturbing" as the song is supposed to be. I can tell you that it was "disturbing" and weird in 1977. I love the way you have kept the movement too, as Kate always described her work as a complete package of song and movement. Your voice works with her words in this song too, so bravo. I really like it and other than "tribute" type of singers who replicate the originals, this is the first KB cover I have ever liked in 40 years :)

Your covers are amazing. I feel like this version's haunting beauty resonates very well with the dark obsession that Cathy's ghost had with Heathcliff. Your voice gives off the impression of the emotions of Cathy superbly: you sound as conflicted and tormented as she does. I can't help but keep listening to this over and over again. You are an amazing singer and composer (the composition of this version is amazing. It took me a while but I finally clocked on that the drum strikes in the background were the ghost knocking on Heathcliff's window).

I am the biggest Kate Bush fan ever. I adore her and she is my icon. And while I love you too Karliene I always get nervous when someone covers her music (I'm probably a bit too precious about it). But this was really beautiful and I absolutely love it! I am not a giant fan of the book but I love you took probably one of the best parts in the book showing how tragic Heathcliff and Cathy really are thought Cathy's perspective. This was truly amazing, I feel so incredibly sorry for Cathy through this song that I want to see her be a peace.

This is the most beautiful thing ever. Wuthering Heights is my favorite book, and I love this version of the song. I hadn't heard this one in awhile, and spent a good 20 minutes looking for it because I couldn't remember the name of the artists. I subscribed so that doesn't happen again. What a cool take on it! This is a wild modern interpretation that sounds like it should be from a new BBC production - love the minor key and primal rhythm! Took a second, but fell in love with the atmosphere! Nicely sung as well - you have a great sound.
