U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier IIs assigned to Marine Attack Squadron 223, 2d Marine Aircraft Wing, arrive at Norwegian Air Force Base Bodø, Norway, to participate in Exercise Cold Response 2022, March 3, 2022. Exercise Cold Response '22 is a biennial Norwegian national readiness and defense exercise that takes place across Norway, with participation from each of its military services, as well as from 26 additional North Atlantic Treaty Organization allied nations and regional partners. Damn, I remember that hellhole! [1:46]
I Had to carry 2 Allen wrenches -- 5/32nds and 7/32nds IIRC Plus 1 TL--29 jacknife and a SWAK. (Leatherman wasn''t invented yet.)
But I only worked on the A Models. AVI WC 220 Electric Shop.
[I know the secret why the Brits drink warm beer...]
I woulda thunk the ''Space Marines of the Future'' would at least be using hex bits on a 20vdc DeWalt impact pistol.
But I get it if personal powertools might get too sparky for the Flight Line.

God bless them all. I truly hope they'll return home soon. It's a bit worrisome considering today's situation that they removed the inert, blue training Sidewinders.

Those revetments look pretty solid. Did the Germans build them when they occupied Norway in the Early '40s?

i will only mention, this is not a response to Russia Ukraine war, they do this all 3 years to test in Arctic circumstances equipment and troops!!
