Last US Airways 767-200 Flight: Inflight Pilot Speech

The final flight of the US Airways 767-200, also the last "762" of any United States passenger scheduled airline (Omni operates two for charter) flew on February 11, 2015.

Here we see in the interior of the aircraft and can listen to a prepared speech by the pilot aboard the special flight.

Very cool! The 767 is my favorite aircraft of all time. Quite legendary. N252AU will be missed, all 767-200's will be missed as they begin to be phased out like the 737-400... You have filmed a pivotal part of US aviation history. I love it!

It is crazy to me as someone born in 2000 seeing a medium/long haul airplane with only a projector screen by the bulkhead areas as late as 2015. I last remember seeing these in 2014 and now they are relics of a by-gone era.

Great airplane and two crew cockpit allowed qualifications for 757/767 .
80s circa 767 200s are still flying as freighters.

I remember being in an American Airlines Boeing 767-200 from New York to Buenos and Buenos Aires to Dallas. Legendary aircraft!

The flight looks empty but consider this is a widebody high occupancy aircraft and it is one of the reasons that they are now mostly used for long haul flights and domestics are now flown on smaller aircrafts such as the B737, A320, A321, A318 A319 and in some Embraer's
