Imaginarium (Grade 3+, Grand Mesa Music, 2015), performed by the University of Northern Colorado Wind Ensemble, Dr. Kenneth Singleton, conductor.

This work, commissioned for the 2015 Association of Texas Small School Bands All-State Band, was inspired by the idea of a giant dream factory. The factory turns it's wheels, creating ideas and flights of fancy, expelling them into the clouds, creating the occasional imaginary monster, and finally racing to the conclusion with a burst of inspiration. I hope you enjoy this work!

Every time I hear the cloud factory, it sends me shivers down my spine because I have so much nostalgia of this song. Although we did terrible trying to play it, it was fun humming and singing the beat of it in history. Thank you Standridge for making such an incredible piece and making 7th grade my favorite year so far. Btw, the French Horn part blew me away, so pretty.

I played this song under the Direction of Mr. Standridge at the Mississippi State band clinic in Natchez, Mississippi in December of 2016. I'm a tuba player and I believe this song to be one of my favorites. It was an amazing experience especially to be under the direction of such an amazing composer. I really hope I get to see his music one day again.

I was cleaning my room, and I found a stash of paper… it looked interesting. When I looked it was all of my old band music. Found imaginarium somewhere near the bottom of the pile, and I knew I had to listen to it. Great middle school vibes💔

This song always makes me sad. My band was going to play this for UIL my senior year, but we never got the chance to fully perform this song due to Covid-19. This was the song to finish off my last year in high school and we never even got the chance to finish it.

Randall Standridge makes the godliest horn parts ever (I am a trombonist)! Love all of your pieces! My favorite is probably still relentless.

Imo, the best part starts at 3:30 but the WHOLE song is amazing. Out of the 6 years I've been playing clarinet this is by far my favorite song that my band has ever played. I'm so glad my band director picked this song for us, Randall Standridge really is the best composer

Somehow got this song a few weeks ago, definately very nicely written. The way the style shifts so dramatically from the "Cloud Factory" section to the "Here there be Monsters" Section is quite frankly, amazing. The style of this song is somewhat unique and definitely well set. It really does fit its name, great job. I'm having a fun time learning this (even if it is slightly easier than our normal music).
