I live in Puerto Rico but was raised with a Mexican family in Chicago, IL where I was born. I learned a lot from Mexican culture and love the food, actually my favorite, food but in PR it's hard to get some ingredients especially the corn husk, tamarindo candy and some of d the dry chiles. I absolutely Love love love your channel and it would be a blessing to get one of your care packages.

I have been a fan for a while now. I love how you unapologetically share our beautiful Hispanic cuisine, complete with lard, chicharrones and hot dogs in a tortilla. It takes me back to my childhood each time, conjuring up images of ‘compadres and tías en la cocina with primos running everywhere.’ Don’t worry about your appearance. Fiesta sounds like the store we grew up with here in AZ. My mom worked there when we were kids. I remember picking up her check, cashing it there, and having the same enjoyment of being there as you probably did! This store had everything from groceries to toys. My mom would also purchase Levi's for my dad there! This brings back memories of the smells, the people, and just being with mom! Thank you for drumming up these memories!

I miss markets like this, I moved away from where I grew up and every time I go home to visit, my parents and I always go to their local market and I get so excited. We don’t have a store like this where I live now but just watching this video brings back memories of my childhood. In fact most of your recipes remind me of my family. Thanks for the video.

I have never been to fiesta, I live in central New Mexico. Born and raised here.My Grandma taught me how to cook since I was very young. I used to Love going shopping with her at the local markets for tamale ingredients.She taught me how to make All the good stuff, tamales, tortillas, biscochitos, posole and papas. You name it ;) It was my very favorite thing to do as a child! I was so proud helping her and learning from her . She's gone now but I know she would be proud! I use the New Mexico Red chilie. (Yes, we spell it like that!) It comes from Lemitar NM and Hatch NM. Probably a lot hotter than what you use! Here in New Mexico it's Always Red or Green chilie on our food! Anyways my cooking is similar to yours but I have learned a lot watching your videos, thanks!🤗
