Honestly just say you close at 2 if you can’t take any customers after that. That’s how every store and restaurant I’ve ever worked at works. We close at 9, so if people are still in the building are free to finish while we start breakdown/cleanup. Am I crazy or doesn’t “closing time” indicate a time customers need to know that they can’t come in after that??? Isn’t that the whole point?
