penta is a huge star just by his look alone, the mask sales, the entrance, all of it, he is going to be a commercial star, hopefully he translates more than sin cara did but he is much more of a main event star in the making than sin cara. people have compared him to rey many times over many years, and i think they might have finally found their 5-10 year answer to rey!

Giant superstar might be a bit of overexaggeration, but it was a pretty sweet debut, and I'm not even a huge Penta fan. Gable also deserves alot of credit, he was magnificent. But yeah, WWE got this very right with Penta last night.

Meltzer will find some way to spin this as a negative no doubt.

I'm not one of those anti-Observer or anti-Dave/Bryan nutcases, I've been following these guys since I was a kid - but with all due respect: Penta was already a star long before yesterday evening! I'm happy for Penta, happy for his fans, and happy for those who prefer WWE to AEW and get to watch him regularly now, but for Bryan to say "One night, giant superstar" I think is a bit denigrating to not only his tenure with AEW, but TNA, LU, and AAA as well (unless, of course, he means Superstar™️ with a capital S.)
