One of the best videos I have seen by you Gary as this really puts the hustle into perspective.

I want to see this again when you need to start making those pivots to fill a different role for your family. You've mentioned that you will need to change your approach soon when there are plays, sports matches, recitals, etc. that you want to make it to in order to support your kids. I'd love to see how the flow changes at that time - especially if there is some difficulty in the transition between this version of hustle and that version of it.

Guy doesnt even meet up with his wife and kids only until 12am, sleeps for 5 hours, has a imaginary basketball session at 6am, has meetings, interviews, calls all day, non stop, and spent nearly half the day inside a taxi. who honestly believes and gets out of their way to meet this guy?

This video actually makes me quite sad. I know you probably spend crazy focused time with your family on weekends, but during the week, this video makes you seem unavailable. I'd love to see one where you share some insight into a family heavy day.

Damn! Hardly any work I see. Just talking to people and going to indoor locations. Doesn't look like the kind of day you should be sore or tired from. No uphill or downhill hiking, just flat fucking ground and well ventilated indoor spaces. No risk of death. This really puts the hustle into perspective. Shows that it doesn't really mean anything special as far as true work goes. The world would be just fine without as many 'hustlers'
but if we didn't have any garbage men, firefighters, cooks, cleaners, well you get the idea.

Sincerely
a farmer

Gary, you cannot expect me to believe you sleep for four hours a night. Also, please spend more time with your family.

All good :) It seems like you run on air. Do you ever eat? (besides the Business Dinners) What's your fav. food?

I used to work 14 hours a day for 8 years. Almost no vacation. Then, I realized that I needed to take it easy if I wanted to live long enough to survive my pets.

In a way, this video saddens me. There is no way in hell anyone can keep that pace for more than a few years without crashing.

Am I right in guessing that this is one of your more relaxed days,
I'm generally at my desk by around 7am and except for about a 15-20 minute lunch break, I'm usually there until around midnight, 7 days/week. And I thought I was a workaholic.
But I'm not out running around, getting to and fro (although the exercise would undoubtedly do me good), so I'm pretty sure I couldn't keep up with you even on a calm day. Respect!

Is this normal? Like what % of your days are like this? Seems both awesome and unattainable like you're going to crash hard in 5 years. Wondering what you think of your schedule? too much? too little?

Hi Gary. How do you deal with sleep deprivation? My doctor insists on more sleep. Caffeine? Pills? What's your secret?

Then we get old and try to buy back our health with our wealth!

But Gary is a smart man and has started to eat healthy and exercise daily!

How do people react when you request a meeting at 10:30pm?

People work 50-60hrs most of their adult lives. Why? Because they have to ignored for them to survive. In that case, its easy to get up everyday. For someone who is passionate about their career and express full creativity through it, its easy to work 12-14hrs a day because they love it. The difference between the 2 is the average person trying to survive will always be trying to survive. The average passion worker who masters their craft creates a freedom for themselves to take time off when they feel need be. #MP
