While I do think Mabel was selfish in her actions during Weirdmageddon, I also think it makes perfect sense for her character because: 1. She's literally 12. 2. We know that Mabel is more emotionally driven than Dipper who's more logically driven and at that point she's absolutely being driven by the emotional buildup she experienced through the whole day until it finally came crashing down when she found out Dipper was gonna become Ford's apprentice. "I would've supported Dipper—" when feeling what Mabel was feeling? No you wouldn't. No one makes logical decisions when they're that upset.
