Validate Google reCAPTCHA using JavaScript

When we add a Google reCAPTCHA in our website forms, we need to write a piece of code to validate the response of reCAPTCHA. If a response is valid then only our form should proceed.

There are 2 ways to validate the response – server-side and client-side. In this video, we focus on client-side validation and so we study how to validate Google reCAPTCHA using JavaScript.

Hi thank you for the video. However, how do I test to make sure that if it detects a bot, then it prevents the bot from submit? Because if a bot can check the box, does that mean it triggers the function "verifyCaptcha()" and still verifies the captcha? Or if it's a bot, there's no way of it to check the box?

Don't follow this, not using the secret key doesn't make any sense.
