I like how he mentions Numberphile like it’s some small side project that probably won’t go anywhere but it’s worth mentioning

I took a look at M3 this evening, as "first light" of a new 8" reflecting telescope. Not least (for me) the feat of actually finding it in the sky with maps, finder scopes, reflex sights and some luck, to realize from this video that it is 12 billion years old, I'm thrilled to have seen it in the flesh. Great videos - more please!

Just wanted to say, "Thanks to all involved, " for this video series and the others, including the periodic table channel. It's a real treat to have all this stuff available.

@pyrea17 well, it's still pretty early for both Deep Sky Videos and Numberphile... so you haven't too much catching up to do!

I'm subscribed to all of those channels! HR diagrams really are an amazing demonstration of pattern finding in Astronomy. It's fascinating how these stars can be broken down into specific groups based on their position on the diagram. Love it!

Try to connect your channels every now and then, not too often, but for many people thats the number 1 way to find out about more channels. Recommendations and referrals from one channel to another are the BEST way to get subscribers. Dont overdo it, but since each channel accumulates new viewers on its own, do not ever forget to do it.

For each channel, a reference pointing outwards to other channels should be done every 3 months minimum. Especially dont forget the biggest ones.

@kurtilein3 wow, you gave that a lot of thought... You might be surprised how many DSV viewers are coming from elsewhere though.
