Since it's called Country Swing
I was wondering if whips or throw outs are done in this as well
..maybe doing the whips etc exactly the same as west coast swing .then continue with the country swing foot work ..

A lot of instructors teach country swing as SQQ. You do QQS. The timing is the same but the dance is going to work differently because of what happens on the downbeat. Not sure which version we should learn.

I noticed you changed your footwork and timing from your previous videos. Instead of rock step walk walk where leads rock step only on the left foot you are doing QQS where you alternate the rock step L and R feet. Is this an evolution of the dance or better alignment with other instructors? Is the other method still valid? The reason I'm asking this is I am teaching my friends Country Swing right now.
