I'm glad Nokia is coming back in the smartphone industry. Competition always wins

1. Nokia themselves do not make smartphones, they are a networking company.
2. The new Nokia logo won't be used on smartphones or any other products that Nokia themselves don't make (e.g. TVs, Game Controllers) - at least not yet
3. The company that makes Nokia phones is called HMD Global. They just licence the brand from Nokia
4. Pure UI is not designed by HMD Global, rather Nokia themselves
5. Pure UI will not be replacing the UI on Nokia phones, it was never designed to. These are not made by Nokia so don't have the right to use it (See number 3)
6. It will be used on Nokia's apps and software. The one's Nokia themselves, not HMD global, make to manage their network devices etc.

In short, Nokia phones aren't really Nokia products, will not be using Pure UI and it was never designed for them to use.

Nice logo, and a very nice display. Great colors and visuals. Probably VR and AR displays. Love to see it. It stays PURE like the Nokia 808 Pureview. I hope we hear soon about the divelopment of Pure.

The old Nokia Lumia 1020 in 2013 had a 41 mp camera and it's pictures are comparable to today's midrangers.
Google should acquire Nokia's brand name to sell smartphones just like it did with motorola

My favorite nokia is the lumia 920 but I also have the 1020 and the camera was amazing. The N9 however was way ahead of its time. Sad that they lost that touch. Always way ahead of everyone else.

Nokia needa to work on the hardware too if it wants to succeed. Underpowered phones with old weak processors, lack of basic functionality like stereo speakers, and super overpricing are not going to get them market share

Nokia needs to release 4yr os, IP68, strong glass protection, removable batteries and components with a bit compromise of chipset(~778G) and charging speeds[for their profit margin] mobiles in midrange 25-35k.

IP69K, millitary grade certification, 5yr OS, almost fire resistant, near flagship chipset/ yr old flagship chipset (like 8+gen1 instead of 8gen 2) for slightly aggressive pricing(price should be lesser compared to Apple and Samsung but more than Chinese like 1+) is perfect Nokia flagship in my opinion
