I have heard of John Farnham but have not listened to his music. Well, I thought I hadn't until I looked him up and found out that at one point in time he was a member of the Little River Band. He left that band to pursue a very successful solo carer in both Australia and the US. But, back to Erik. He is a phenominal singer and he really knocks it out of the park with this one. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the review! John Farnham is an Australian singer. This song was very popular in Europe in the 80's. I think you can call it a one hit wonder (at least I don't know any other songs by him). I think Erik's version was amazing. For me, it wasn't as good as the original, but definitely one of the best covers I have heard.
