The Basics of Ocular Migraines

Anyone who has experienced an ocular migraine knows how awful they can be. 🤕
These are caused by spasming blood vessels that causes distorted or blurry vision. They usually last about 10-20 minutes but some people will get a full migraine headache afterwards.

To help lessen the possibility of these happening, keep a journal and track what you are doing and eating to see if you can identify any patterns of things that trigger these ocular migraines. By eliminating these triggers, you should get some relief.

Now, if these continue to persist, get in to see your eye doctor to make sure your eyes are good and healthy. If everything looks good there, get in to see your primary care doctor because there is something else going on as it is not vision related.
