Darlene luckily has her kids as safe guards to her sanity and drive. She hasn't been driven to addiction. Becky is what worries me because her character seems to have less paths towards a happy ending. The best outcome for her is perhaps Mark secretly donated to a sperm-bank at one point and she through fertility treatments has his kid that way. Which I hope they go that way with Becky.

Roseanne’s tweet was not about race. It was political, as Roseanne has mentioned numerous times. She was trying to comment on Iran, which is experiencing chaos in its streets as we speak. Roseanne believes Valerie, as a member of the Obama administration, had a role in the expansion of the Muslim brotherhood in places like Iran. The tweet had NOTHING to do with what the movie is called, and everything to do with what the movie is about. Planet of the Apes, the movie, is about overthrowing political despots (where the Apes rule and humans are their servants and either fight back or escape). And that is what some people of Iran are trying to do to their own government. People need to get past the word “Ape”. That had nothing to do with what Roseanne was trying to say. If the movie was called “waka maka waka” then that’s what she would have said, because what the movie is called was irrelevant to what she was trying to say. Again, Roseanne was comparing what she believes to be Valerie’s actions with the PLOT of the movie, not the name or characters in it.

I luv this episode but not because of Darlene's attempts at flirting.  It's funny alright.  But I like how this family pulls together as shown by the scene with Becky giving some advise to Darlene.  Big sister is great AND John Goodman's strong, silent type.  Although not explicit, this episode did show an aspect of their faith that's indomitable.  Rain done some damage to their basement but it was also their saving grace in the end in order to help Rosy with her knee surgery.  It's definitely an American thing.  I was really hoping that the doll thing would help offset the cost.  Eventually in this episode, everyone wins.

She changed, and don't say she grew up!.. Roseanne didn't. Becky didn't. Even dj is the same.... Darlene is trying really hard to be an adult, different than her family. Lol.
I miss the immature, rude, cocky, Darlene.

Roseanne, why isn't Darlene applying at school's to be a English Teacher? That would have a great arc in the show. Showing how underpaid they are. Also, show how they buy a lot of their own supplies. She has a degree and public school's have programs for college graduates to teach while earning their teaching certificate. Please, show how important teacher's are and how under appreciated they are. You could also have an "active shooter" in her school which is a "hot button" topic. I wish I could write for your show. I have tons of ideas. Love your reboot!

Dear ABC, dont sack the whole crew, they dont deserve it and neither do viewers. Either give Rosie a second chance with penalty and exhibit in her and her character a giant lesson learned and apologies from her or spin off "Dan from Landford" show or Sara a show. Comedians often say kooky horrid things especially about women. Have Valerie as a guest and get Roseanne to apologize to her in front of everyone.
