I drive an XD gas. And it’s a beast of a motor. Stock, it will do 8 seconds in a quarter mile. The endurance motor is built in Tennessee I believe and they did an amazing job. Stock, it gets about 18 mpg which is not bad for how big the motor and truck is. None of these comments are from people who own one. Just people trashing it because it’s a Nissan. But overall, it is a beast of a truck. And sounds amazing with my true dual exhaust. Hope this helps!

I would go gas. The towing capacities are close and the gas wins in payload. Factor in the $5k in cost for the diesel plus higher fuel prices and higher maintenance costs and I think the gas is the better bet.

I have to say, the gas XD's capabilities are a bit more impressive than I expected them to be given that the diesel XD's ratings were so close to GM's 6.2 and Ford's EB3.5. Now that we know the gas XD is in the 11k towing range, and ~2600 for payload, it sounds like a much better proposition, even if it will still be the heaviest truck in its class.

i love diesel's, own a duramax, but i would buy the gas since the payload is more and towing is so close, the Diesel just doesnt work in this platform yet. in time it will be good

Yea but they are going to of course come out with a tune and aftermarket stuff that will help that diesel significantly in Peformance and milage

Your mashups are fun, but will be nice to see you mashup these in one of two ways, 3way mashup of the Chev diesel 3/4ton, dodge(either eco or their 3/4ton, ford 3/4 ton and the new XD all in diesel, then another one bouncing off similar equipped v8's Titan, Gm, dodge and Ford.

A question for you guys, I am from Chile and reading the coments bellow i start asking myself something: which is the cost of the gasoline and diesel over there?
The question because a subscriber coment "plus lower price of the gasoline vs diesel..." and that just makes no sense for me. Here, the regula gasoline galon is at about 4 dollars and the diesel arround 2 1/2 dollars per galon, so I can't undestand why the gasoline is cheaper that diessel.
