Shai is a different breed.... And is a player that is wise beyond his years. Players with true pure basketball skill and IQ are just going extinct in the league today sadly. Kids in AAU are not worried about shit but running fast and jumping The way his brain sees the floor and spacing and his ability to get to a spot and finish through and avoid contact is second to none. I would put it on KYRIE level. And he is literally just begining his career.!!!! He has been special since he stepped foot in lexington as a overlooked underrated 4 star recruit.

For john calipari to see what no one else did and evaluate shai's talent, , trusting him enough to hand the keys to the team to him. Was something no one else ecpected. I mean a kid that was viewed as a multi year back up coming into lexington. Truly speaks volumes to KY and john calipari being the best developer/ evaluator of talent in the Period

I mean the success of KY's players in comparison to others from schools like duke and UNC, kansas etc etc is undeniable proof of that.
Ecspecially when most of those were ranked higher, went higher in the draft, and were hyped out the ass. ( ESPN'S LOVE OF ANYTHING K OR DUKE) !!!! Is just hilarious.
