Oof, I had to do some ocean shots with flip fluids... The sheer stack of modifiers and proximity weight paint edits is so annoying haha. It's worse when you have a small are to be simulated and then you have to blend it with a large ocean XD

hey i want to know how u made the waves of ocean in motion. right know i have to bring an obstacle and then i have to move it...so that the waves will be created. Is there any other method?

I'm trying this out and it doesn't seem to be working, I'm using a displacement modifier with the top face of my domain subdivided and set as a vertex group for the displacement, and then I'm using a previously baked ocean modifier for the displacement before baking the fluid sim. Is this the getting somewhat close to what you did, or am I going down a completely wrong path?
