Man, why so many dislikes? This video's awesome! I was actually really convinced it was a video IGN made back in 1996, but then I was like, "Naah... this video quality is too high, and there's definitely a lot of sarcasm going on in this unboxing."

I've heard of this thing. It looks like a pretty nice little system... and that controller looks pretty awesome. Much better than some of the controllers out now. Too bad it's so rare... and so expensive. It's almost as expensive as the PS3 was at launch. Hell, I think it is MORE expensive than the PS3 was at launch, if you look for it on eBay or something.

I sincerely hope the IGN team held onto this alicorn. The Apple Pippin is rare already, and the black European version is EXTREMELY rare and highly coveted.

I'm thinking about having my own console collection someday, so maybe I'll give the Pippin a shot. The apple jack controller is cute. Holy crap 600$?! That's even higher than the XBOX 1!

While it was expensive at the time, I have to admit it seems like the Pippin was capable of doing quite a bit. Like they said in the video it was pretty much a computer. Too bad it never caught on. Only like 48K were sold.
