About Miura Golf

The Miura story is one of family, passion, and precision. It’s one focused on the power of touch and a belief in meticulous attention to detail. It’s one grounded by an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of perfection.

It begins in Himeiji, Japan, with the art and discipline of samurai and ends with the finest hand-crafted golf clubs known to man. Our founder, Katsuhiro Miura, set out to make something elegant and refined, to create something beautiful, with the highest degree of integrity, something that isn’t done in the golf industry.

His patience and unique forging process ensures the grain of the steel is fine and uniformed, leading to a feel unlike anything else. The Miura feel. Every club is hand-crafted, one-by-one, and touched by Miura-San or one of his two sons, Shinei and Yoshitaka.

Beautiful! Ultimate craftsmanship. This is why I love the Japanese. They take immense pride in what they do and don't settle for average - something us in the west need to regain. Mastery at it's best.

These by far are the most beautiful blades in the world. Adam bringing his pure swing to this craftsmanship is perfect. Loved this video!

I am a trim carpenter and take pride in my craft and watching this video gave me goose bumps seeing the family tradition and dedication to hand crafted pieces of art. Adam is a pure Class Act and this is a marriage made in Heaven with Miura and Adam. The video was very soothing and relaxing and being able to experience this level of craftsmanship and care is a real treat. Go get 'em Adam and Miura

Wow this is a match made in heaven. Adam Scott’s golf swing is the personification of the Miura way. This video is pregnant with meaning and symbolism. The pursuit of perfection in a Japanese forged blade, and an eloquent golf swing.

Kaizen in manufacturing, kaizen in motion.

I really enjoyed it when when Adam Scott stated how family played into this. That his father would let young Adam work on clubs in the factory similar to how Miura-san and his two children work together. Priceless.

I found an old Miura second hand 56 degree wedge a few weeks ago. It's well used, and battered, but I love it. I've played a few rounds with it and am now trying to figure how if I need a whole set of Miura. This video is incredible. Thanks for showing us what you do.

Pure craftsmanship and pride in the final result. Very cool to see the forging process and hosel addition. Just great pride and work ethic from the Japanese people, something that the younger generation in the U.S. needs.

Even though I am a Mizuno fan, I can appreciate the fact that Adam and Jack Nicklaus would lend their names to this company in making their irons. And that Adam having a direct control of the whole process of making his irons is really cool as well.

Fantastic video. To see the care and craftsmanship behind each Miura club was incredible. And seeing the close family connections throughout the process makes Miura clubs truly special.

You would think a premium brand like Miura would have a luxurious and fancy facility but their shop is all pretty humble and gritty. Pretty wild.

That bit where he was talking about family, Miura and his sons, his father their experience together in golf, club making etc. while he was grinding that club head. His dad there with him. Everything his dad would have hoped for him, everything he would have hoped for to make his father proud. This experience for them together it must be incredibly special.

I'm born a day after Adam Scott, from pretty much the exact same part of Australia. My children are half Japanese..the respect I have for the Japanese, the romance of this whole golf nirvana situation going on there. The whole father and sons dynamic everyone understands that and this particular situation all feels particularly relateable for me.

When Miura put his hands on Scott's shoulders..few little tears rolled down my cheeks
