This is how Mould destroys tents

Learn from my mistakes!!! Dry out your camping gear properly after use.
This tent was an OZTRAIL 6P FAST FRAME LUMOS tent with PVC flooring.

The Woolies version of Milton (the suff you use to sanitise babies bottles) strips mould (and colour if you're not careful) from clothes so that may work.
Also, Clove Oil is one of the few things that actually kills the spores on contact. Add 15 drops of clove oil into a spray bottle. Spray onto mouldy areas and leave for two hours, spray a bit more, wipe away.
I realise the tent is probably long gone by now, but for anyone playing along at home....

I don't pack up anything until it's dry.
I usually leave around 2pm once everything is dry 😂

I turned my tent inside out. Jammed it into the washing machine with napisan...

TL;DR - Don't pack your tent wet. If you do, take it out when you get home and let it dry out.

My camper awning was starting to get black mold. I tried other cleaners with using a pressure washer. I pretty much had to use straight up bleach with the highest nozzle to get it off. Maybe try that?

It's reasons like this, and others, i decided to build myself a camper trailer. Got sick of having to set up my giant tent every time i get home, to say nothing about having to pack it up soaking wet in my car!

Have you tried Sellys Mould Killer ? If that dont work, nothing will.

ever heard of Vanish? there. oxigen peroxide will solve your problem.

Bummer, 1 Reason Why I Stopped Using Tents, They All Mold. After You Discovered This, How Many Hours Did You Cry?
