i'm normally not a fan of black metal, more melodic death metal, but I find myself writing here at 1am and this comes up. I will say this is some pretty exceptional metal, by what ever merit of label it falls under. I read the comments and revel in the emotion that this band has on people who hear it. I applaud, because it is exceptional, and now I'm sad that this band is not even together now. doubly sad because the song is over

It's so good. Agalloch is more atmospheric black metal than any other genre I think. I have fallen asleep to them. Brilliant orchestration without trying to prove anything. I love them!

This is turning me back a lots of years ago, when my world was different. Lots of things changed, but I feel something is the same. My roots of rock and metal music are still here. I went to lots of ways and roads and some ways were closed and unfinished and maybe blind. I forget who I am, I forgot what was stand by me when I was down and I forgot what made me complete when I was divided and unhappy. I forgot my roots and feelings, but they are here again. Probably nobody will understand exactly your feelings and melancholy, but it does not matter, the point is to try meet someone who feels similar to you, its important to do something and build something what gives strong feeling to someone and this feelings make people goes together.
