What we cover today:

EHang's Business Model: Unlike Archer and Joby which focus solely on air taxis, EHang also explores logistical uses for their drones, including cargo delivery and firefighting. This diversification might give EHang an edge in specific sectors.
Passenger Capacity: EHang’s vehicles currently carry only two people, which may limit their utility for group travel. They are starting with sightseeing tours, which poses a different kind of market challenge and opportunity.
Global Aspirations: EHang plans to expand internationally, directly competing with Archer and Joby. What does this mean for the market dynamics?
Certification Advantages: With EHang potentially receiving quicker certification in China, could this put pressure on U.S. regulators to expedite processes for Archer and Joby?
Long-Term Threat: EHang’s slow move towards the U.S. market might allow Archer and Joby to establish a strong foothold. Is EHang really a threat in the next decade?
Discussion Point: With EHang’s diverse business model and international plans, should Archer and Joby be worried? Drop your thoughts in the comments!

Its not a threat to american evtol companies because their focus in on different markets. But if ehang succeds it will open the door to the rest of the evtol companies.
Ehang does not need to go to the US to succeed. They already have more than 2.000 million potential customers in East Asia. ( China, India, Indonesia, Japan...)
Their intention is to grow within that region, not in the US. Please americans understand that the US is no longer the center of the Universe. There are more countries, not only yours.
E hang is already selling evtols, signing contracts and mass production. Profits will come soon.
A whole completely diffetent model than archer and joby.

Same with lilium, its not a current threat to joby and archer. Different evtols serves different needs.

I am buying EH because they can start making money sooner, with drones for many use cases. Harder is get people flying.

Ehang is shorted on the nasdaq as crazy and us companies always invent false rumors to make the stock crash ... Of course it's a threat

eHang is miles ahead of Joby and Archer. Archer going bankrupt soon. eHang has a digital skyway, fully autonomous, and has a 300-mile range plane nearly certified as well. eHang is the easy investor choice here. They're going to start scaling the 216 to carry dozens and dozens of people.

Sounds like they're already in competition in Dubai and India

Can you make a video where you try to find an evtol lifting and carrying the weight of a human for the longest time without edits? Jetson has one for 3 minutes the time might be slowed but that's the longest ive seen. Its little and the bigger they get the worse they would be.

They have a type certificate for unmanned only. They can't lift a person longer that 3 minutes either.
