How to Delete a Google Ads Account

If you are looking to Delete (CANCEL) the Google Ads Account, then this video is for you.
The Google Ads account will initially show as Cancelled in your Login Page
After approximately one month, it will be completely removed.

How to Delete a Google Ads Account:

Legacy Google Ads Interface:

1️⃣ Navigate to Tools and settings
2️⃣ Click on Preferences under the Setup column
3️⃣ Under Account status click on Cancel my account

New Google Ads Interface:

1️⃣ Navigate to Admin (bottom-left corner)
2️⃣ Click on Preferences
3️⃣ Under Account status click on Cancel my account

That's it!

This is only cancelling accounts but not deleting account. You need to remove access for your account to remove permanently.

Why you write "Delete account" since you only explain how to "cancel account"? I saw this video without reason.
Do you know how the account can be deleted and disappear forever?

This didnt work, I dont have an admin Tab.

I did manage to figure it out though:
Left Column >Setting >Campaing Settings : Delete Campaign if you have one
Left Column >Setting >Account Settings : Hit the drop down on Account Status, Cancel Account!

Same feedback as the others - video title should be "how to cancel a google ads account" plus you can keep your face in one location. no need to move you all over which is irritating. people can follow the cursor without your face right next to it. thanks though
