Radio Host: Hispanics Love Socialism, Democrats

"While many Republicans are calling on their party to be more inclusive after stinging losses in the 2012 election, the director of issues analysis of a conservative fundamentalist Christian organization says that it's time to "clamp down" on immigrants because Hispanics voted for President Barack Obama.

"Hispanics are not Democrats, don't vote Democrat because of immigration," the American Family Association's Bryan Fischer said in video posted by Right Wing Watch on Tuesday. "It has to do with the fact that they are socialists by nature. They come from Mexico, which is a socialist country. They want big government intervention, they want big government goodies."

"Now they want open borders — make no mistake — because they've got family and friends that they want to come up and be able to benefit from the plunder of the wealth of the United States, just as they have been able to do."

The Northern Europeans know that a mixed economy with some socialism is the only defense against fascism and communism. Those countries have the highest standard of living of all the countries in the world.

Hispanic is an ethnicity not a race! I am Mexican, and my race is white. Hispanics are a mix of different people with different races. We also have black Hispanics and Native Americans.

Using the term 'right wing' is loaded and somewhat misleading. The whole 'left' 'right' simplification of political views is part of the reason certain organizations have managed to dumb the whole conversation down. It prevents reasonable discourse. eg. Nationalism: Is it bad in all cases, or is some moderate nationalism healthy and productive? If your answer is 'Nationalism is right/left wing therefore it is good/bad' it pretty much removes the need to consider what it even means.

It works pretty well in Europe. Europe is going downhill right now because of the global economy and austerity measures, not because of socialism.

Even if they came to the US to make it socialist, I don't see the problem. The best places to live right now are socialist democratic countries.
