Wow love it, I ordered my pathfinder immediately after your first review and I love it, excellent carver and woods tool. Ivan is a great designer, and they just kill it with their 14c

Nice, wont visually beat the micro milled alu scales with front flipper but interesting solution for thumbstud. Does it still have roller bearings or regular balls ?

The Pathfinder fixed blade looks great for an EDC fixed blade or for outdoors but what we're they thinking on the sheath. Talk about a way to gimp your purchase by not adding a decent sheath. For the price even an FRN one would be better, can see many not buying it specifically because the sheath sucks so much, no one wants to fiddle with a sheath trying to get the knife in or out of it. The G5 looks good but man I'm so over button locks at this point. It's well made and appears to be solid as a lightweight EDC it checks alot of boxes (minus the T6's of course) that many will like. Thanks for the look see and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

I’m with you, love the whole G5 Metamorph series. Great blade shape and handle design by Ostap Hel. BUT I had to return this button lock version - it was too thick in the handle for me. Lost the thin and slim appeal of the rest of the series. Too bad, but I get it, the button lock needs the thickness.

The G5 Metamorph was my first front flipper and it did not make a good impression on me. Good thumbstud opening is waaaay better, all day.

I wanna see testing of the Real Steel Pathfinder compared to the Vosteed Grind. The pathfinder looks like it has a heavy micro-brevel meaning it won't cut as well. A photo on the site showed batoning which would kill most any true scandi grind. There's a very faint micro-bevel on the Vosteed Grind, but otherwise it's close to zero. I'd rather have a zero scandi and a Victorianox (for feathsticking, etc) than one knife trying to do everything. From experience, the Vosteed is the best deep cutting pocket knife I've tried, makes work more efficient than something with a large micro-bevel. Again, I'd love to see some testing back-back.
