Underrated. One of their older songs (Joshua Tree era B-Side) that was re-recorded and finally released as a single from this (first) greatest hits album. I remember when I first heard it, my friends and I deliberately replaced “sweetest” with “Swedish”, and to us it became “That Swedish U2 song” (Apologies to all Swedes- y’all gave us Minecraft and some of the best modern fiction (“Let the Right One In” is a personal favorite, and the film was well done. I haven’t bothered with the American remake.) Um anyway yeah this song is… very sweet. Bono writes a good love song, even if it’s not a stadium sing-a-long anthem from our early-MTV-era memories.
